100 Days of Ballet
100 Days of Ballet
This challenge is structured in three phases that are each complete and whole:
10 Days: The Initiation 🌑 (Days 1–10):
Learn the 10 foundational combinations. These are your anchors — the vocabulary of the practice. Learn the combinations. Learn the language. Learn how to return.
- Learn one foundational combination per day
- No enhancements
- Focus is on clarity, safety, trust
50 Days: The Devotion 🌒 (Days 11–60):
Return to each foundational combination with an enhancement — small adjustments that deepen your awareness, refine your control, and invite embodiment. The same movements with greater demands: tempo, balance, musicality, coordination.
- Repeat foundational combinations
- Each repetition includes one enhancement:Tempo changeBalance holdArm variationDirectional ChangeBreath Cue
100 Days: The Embodiment 🌕 (Days 61–100):
The combinations become invitations to presence and expression, with fewer cues and more freedom. You may find yourself dancing with intention rather than counting counts. Embodiment. The work becomes internal. The dancer becomes quieter. The practice becomes yours.
- Same foundational combinations
- Enhancements stack
- Fewer instructions
- More interpretation
Rather than chasing novelty, we return to depth. Like tending a fire, you work with the same wood, but each time the flame reveals new warmth.
Each challenge includes:
- Written combinations
- Musical suggestions
- Reflection prompts
- Gentle accountability
People don’t learn new dances.
They become better dancers.
You are not behind.
You are exactly where the work begins.
